Producer/ Director/ DP-Cameraman

I started working with film and video following my fascination for the making of films as a kid, and out of my early experiments I became one of the first video jockeys in the Netherlands in 1994. While performing around the Benelux, I worked as an editor and audio engineer for a national production house in the Netherlands. Eventually taking over the entire studio, fulfilling all that a production needs. At the same time as a freelance cameraman I was shooting short films for fellow students and graduates next to concerts, live performances, music videos and some commercials. Being continuously active in expressing myself, I found my longing for adventure and explorations in balance with the harmony of nature.

While travelling I came in contact with a lot of cultures which truly inspired me. Meeting and coming accross indeginous people, the most beautifull nature and the simple approach to life. Which I later found is my source of inspiration from which I fully grow and can express myself. As an artist, all I wanted is to capture these magical moments and places for the rest of the world to see. To promote and support the spirit that can be found in every corner of the world in that beautiful way that I am absolutely sure of film can do.

On my search, I moved to Thailand in 2004 where I lived for 6 years of my life working as a freelance cameraman/director and full-time editor for a huge variety of foreign broadcast and independent productions. Next to that I expressed myself through my own productions. Now I can say that I am brimming with inpiration because I am living in SE-Asia. Now living and working in Malaysia, with a healthy balance between culture, urban life and the harmony of the rain forest, surrounded by people that support its preservation and development. To fully support and promote benificial organisations for the wellbeing of humanity, education and our environment we founded Moving FIlms in Malaysia.
